Where We Work in Southern New Hampshire

Roof Pros Plus works out of Derry and covers five areas: Greater Manchester, southern Rockingham County, the Seacoast, Greater Nashua and the Monadnock Region around Keene. That is 56 towns. Pick yours below to see what we do there.

Greater Manchester

Our office is in Derry, so this is home turf. Manchester's West Side and center-city blocks are full of triple-deckers and multi-families with flat rubber roofs, while Bedford, Londonderry and Windham are mostly colonials in neighborhoods built over the last fifty years. Head northwest to Weare and New Boston and you are into farmhouses, barns and long gravel roads. Different roofs, same winter.

Southern Rockingham County

The towns between Derry and the Massachusetts line, and east toward Exeter. Salem and Plaistow bring busy commercial roads with neighborhoods of capes and ranches behind them. Hampstead and Kingston have lakes ringed with former summer cottages, and Sandown, Danville and Fremont are wooded towns that grew fast in the 1980s and 1990s, so a lot of their original roofs are wearing out at the same time.

Seacoast

From the historic downtowns of Portsmouth and Exeter to the beach cottages of Hampton and the shore homes in Rye and New Castle. Near the water, salt air works on flashing, nails and gutters, and ocean wind tests every roof edge, so materials and fastening matter more. Inland, Stratham, Greenland and Hampton Falls are farms, orchards and colonials on open lots.

Greater Nashua

From the old mill district where the Nashua River meets the Merrimack, west up the Souhegan Valley through Amherst, Milford and Wilton. Nashua and Hudson bring multi-family buildings, ranches and busy commercial strips. The valley towns bring village greens, antique homes and wooded lots where shade and tree debris are as hard on a roof as the snow is.

Monadnock Region

Keene and the hill towns around Mount Monadnock. Snow comes deeper and stays longer out here, and the housing runs older: Victorian homes near downtown Keene, mill-village houses in Troy and Marlborough, Federal-era homes on the Walpole common, and lake cottages in Rindge and Chesterfield. Standing-seam metal is a common choice in these towns because it sheds snow without help.
